Explore the lived practice of leadership by talking with someone who you consider to act in a leadership capacity

Process:

Identify someone you would like to interview and ask if they would be willing to speak with you.  The interview may take anywhere between 20 minutes and an hour.

Once you have secured their permission, draw up an interview schedule.  Please include within that list of questions:

Questions about the practices/activities/behaviours  they see as KEY to undertaking their leadership role

Questions about how they have learned to do these practices/activities/behaviours

Questions about what they have found most difficult about leading

Questions about any advice they would give to someone aspiring to be an effective leader

THIS SCHEDULE OF QUESTIONS WILL BE INCLUDED IN YOUR SUBMISSION

Do the interview.  You may want to record it (ASK PERMISSION!!)

As soon as possible after the interview, write up your impressions and things you have learned from it.
