Part 3- Discuss the family issue/challenge using the viewpoint of two different theoretical family perspectives (FAMILY STRESS THEORY and FAMILY SYSTEMS THEORY). Critically appraise the two theories in relation their impact on family roles, relationships and functions discussed in your literature review. Here you break down the theories to relate it to the topic. Talk about stages, definitions, roles, etc… to thoroughly describe these theories in great detail, as it relates to families with children with autism. (Discussion).

Part 4- Chose ONE perspective (FAMILY STRESS THEORY) and justify your rationale by outlining the ways that this perspective informs your knowledge of the particular family issue/challenge (families with children with autism) and how it would enhance your ability as an Early Childhood Educator to offer support to a family dealing with this issue. (Conclusion).
