SECOND TAKE-HOME EXAM

In your exam, address the following points. Drawing upon ideas from Rooney, Lanre-Abass, and Kadi, discuss the character of knowledge on feminist views. Choose one example from Kristof and WuDunn that you think demonstrates some aspect of feminist epistemology, explaining how it does so. Drawing upon Fricker, Pohlhaus, Fehr, and Shiva, discuss various forms (at least one from each author) of epistemic injustice that women (and members of other underrepresented groups) can suffer. Choose one example from Kristof and WuDunn that you think illustrates one form of epistemic injustice, explaining how it does so.

Be sure to explain all technical terms and sufficiently develop all of your points. Your job is to show me that you understand this material.

Your essay should be around 4-6 pages, although this is not a hard and fast requirement; I’m far more concerned with quality than with quantity. It must be typed, double-spaced with standard fonts (11 or 12 points please) and margins.
