Final Multimedia Project

Write a final paper that explores concepts of aesthetics and creativity in music therapy. You will draw parallels and contrasts between music as an aesthetic and music as a therapeutic tool. You can also bring in ideas about creativity, art, and music therapy. You will present a rationale for using (or not using) quality music to promote functional change in the population of your choosing. In order to further illustrate your major points, you will record four original improvisations or compositions (not previously submitted). Each recording should be fewer than 3 minutes in length and should ADD to your paper by illustrating a point.
