Paper, Order, or Assignment Requirements

I need to select a topic for my final paper and discuss that topic it with the professor before starting.
Its a 25 page paper with 50% of the total grade!
This paper will analyze the concept of “emerging technology” and its implications for security with a focus on a specific security concern. 
Select a particular security application area:
• In what way emerging technologies (specifically identified) will or could affect this area
• What policy measures would be appropriate and needed to achieve these results. 
The article should address:
1- Value: 
How the emerging technology (ies) would or could address the security problem?
Focus on integration of the emerging technologies into applications affecting the security concern with a clear depiction of the security problem
What measures, strategies, policies, investments, etc., should be taken (by whom) to attempt to achieve these results. 
2- technical alternatives: a clear assessment with clear statement of the contending views
3- risks: a clear assessment, risks of both of taking action and not taking action,
4- impediments
5- competitive elements
6- ethical issues: a carefully reasoned discussion of the recommended policy choices

Emphasis is on thought and content. Emphasis will be on using the extended reading lists provided in each section and some additional research as the basis for the “article”. I have attached the syllabus and extended reading list.
