. Based on an area of research interest, please review at least two journal research articles that used a quantitative research approach and two journal research articles that used a qualitative research approach. Your paper should include,
1. Introduction and background that frames your topic of interest and discusses the importance of the topic to your field of study. This section should also articulate the general importance or significance of this research and its potential impact in your field/area of study.
2. Focus of the inquiry or research questions. This section outlines the more focused purpose of your inquiry. This section is often short and to the point.
3. Review of Research (4 articles minimum). This is the body of your paper where you review the articles you have selected. The review should include:
• Focus and questions that were sought to be answered in the paper. What research methods, data collection, and analytical methods the authors used in their inquiry/study.
• What the authors found or concluded.
• Questions that you may have been left with that went unanswered.
• Reflection on each study. Were the methods reliable, valid, or trustworthy? What were some of the problems you see in the methodological approach to the research?
4. Summary and conclusions.
• This is where you now compare and contrast the studies.
• How did they differ or how were they similar in their research approaches to your general questions and area of interest?
• What kinds of research and questions should be raised within your area of interest or content area that could advance understanding and discovery in the field you are in?
• Recommendations you have for future research in this area.
