Every 10 years the White House Conference on Aging (WHCOA) serves a forum, bringing together experts and advocates on aging to propose resolutions for OAA funding and new directions in care. Using the next White House Conference on Aging (2015) as a reference point, think about how the OAA has been amended since it was established in 1965 and what other amendments (and changes in funding) might be needed for the next 50 years.
