Gender Politics in the US

Description: Using your four sources (Ch. 5 of Greenberg/Page, the âMale-Female Pay Gapâ article, the Newsweek article, âAre We There Yet?â and the short video of
Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg), explore the obstacles to womenâs equality in the United States today in a 2-3 page essay (double spaced, 12 point
font, Times Roman, with 1 inch margins). You may rely more on those sources that best suit your argument but be sure to draw on all four at least once.
Essays should name the obstacle(s); explain the causes; offer ways of overcoming the obstacle(s); and address why todayâs young women have a
harder time identifying and calling attention to the discrimination they are experiencing. If you want to introduce an obstacle, your essay should still
