Given Plato s theory, can we really obtain absolute truth from our experiences of the temporal, material world?

Given Plato s theory, can we really obtain absolute truth from our experiences of the temporal, material world? Or perhaps sense experience cooperates with Platonic thinking to provide knowledge. If so, why?
