Section 8.2.2.2 of your PMBOK Guide states that quality audits are structured, independent reviews to determine whether project activities comply with organizational and project policies, processes, and procedures. They are comprehensive assessments of the project’s capabilities within the organization’s priorities. If this is so, why is it difficult to perform a truly independent, objective audit?
