What happens when only one or two people on a team are critical thinkers?

What about in a group decision? What happens when only one or two people on a team are critical thinkers? How can they convince the other team members to become critical thinkers or how can they convey their thoughts/ideas in such a way to evoke the other members to see the rationale behind his or her critical thoughts/ideas? Or is this even possible?
