Health Issue Statement
The increase in overweight and obesity rates in recent decades is a major public health concern in many countries including Australia. Sedentary lifestyles which have come about due to increasing affluence and the modernisation of society, and changes to diets containing, more energy-dense foods are believed to be the main causes in the rise in overweight and obesity rates.

Task you are required to develop a planned course of action in response to one factor (I am doing food) that you believe is a significant barrier to addressing the rise of obesity in the community. Your planned course of action must promote healthy lifestyles. You will be required to implement your planned course of action as a health campaign to students at school. Following implantation you will critically evaluate the process and justify in your report recommendations/ conclusions/ modifications.

Based on this planned course of action addressing the rise in obesity and promotion of a Healthy Lifestyle among students at school you as an individual will need to

1. Evaluate the implementation of the strategy in meeting the needs of the year 7 and 8’s
2. Make recommendations to improve the conclusions and make to improve the promotions of Healthy Lifestyles and future generations of the school.

All Primary and Secondary data must be fully referenced in-text, and complete Bibliography must be attached.
