Historians debate the exact point in Roman history at which the Roman Republic ended and the Empire began. In your opinion when did the Roman Republic end and the Roman Empire begin? Use specific historical examples to support your answer. Hint: In order to answer this question you must explain how you define the Roman Republic and Empire.
