Our group called Champs Elysees at 4 Star hotel.

The HOTS simulation is a team based problem solving exercise, where teams will be working together making decisions throughout the semester. Each team member has a role and function to ensure that your hotel performs well over three ‘years’. This report however is an individual report which demonstrates your understanding of your hotel performance over the three years, and its current situation.

The first part of this report is an analysis of your hotel’s performance based on the decisions/strategies which your team implemented over the last three ‘years’. The second part of the report is a Business Plan for the fourth year. This Business Plan will outline your current environment, and develop strategies to improve your performance (based on your results from the last three years).

4.0 Reference List

Referencing is required for definitions such as ROCE and stability ratios. Each of your points in your SWOT analysis should also be referenced. For those students who are aiming to achieve high marks, referencing is also required in your strategies. If you are unsure of referencing requirements please listen to lecture capture for week 9.

Within the body of your report, if you are referencing for example, the Effect of Advertising report, you would simply insert (HOTS, 2012b). If you then refer to the Conference Feasibility report, it would then be (HOTS, 2012a).

Note: the reports are listed alphabetically in the reference list (not in order of citing in your document).

In your reference list:
HOTS. (2012a). Conference feasibility. HOTS (v7SH): Griffith University.

HOTS. (2012b). Effect of advertising. HOTS (v7SH): Griffith University.

HOTS. (2012c). The national economy. HOTS (v7SH): Griffith University.
