– background of Typhoon Haiyan. History, areas affected, the effect, deaths, cost, etc

– the case study will touch on 3 areas: economic security, social security and development security in the Philippines before and after Typhoon Haiyan

– Economic Security – before and after (import, export, tourism, etc)

– Social Security – before and after

– development security – before and after

– international commitment (support in terms of assets, government, military, non military, who funded the cost of disaster? Philippine government or international? How much?

– analysis of the effect of Typhoon Haiyan on international security to the Philippines, ASEAN and international (short, and long term) how long the Philippines can recover (economy)
