Write a response to the Peter Singer article which claims we have an obligation to spend down to the level of marginal utility in order to alleviate famine.
To offer a rebuttal of Singer on other, non-Utilitarian grounds. For example, you might argue that Singer relies on some unstated, and questionable, premises, such as “moral equivalency” or the concept of “negative responsibility.
The point of the paper is to craft a counter-argument against Singer’s position, especially one which shows an awareness of moral considerations other than the value of utility. Also write a brief summary(one paragraph) of the article.
