1-Did you know that when you apply online for a job you are most likely applying to a head-hunter? Does the use of technology actually hurt your chances of getting the position since you are being screened by a third-party and they are proposing only those candidates that they think will get hired and thus get money sent to the recruiter?

Please discuss this and what can be done (if any)?

2-Why would companies want to use social media (i.e. Linked In, Facebook, etc) as a recruitment tool? Pros/Cons?

3-There are many technological tools to determine if a person is qualified to perform necessary functions of a job, etc. However, many people say that these tools do not measure the person effectively.
What is your opinion on this? Please try to support your views

4-How has technology impacted how we track job applicants?
