Please use Roy’s Adaptation Model
In my opinion Roy’s adaptation model is a great example to apply in my research proposal in patients with hypertension. Hypertensive patients must be conscious about the risk of developing chronic kidney disease. Regular follow up evaluation for early diagnosis of the disease progress is recommended. Even though patients are distinct individuals because some are self-reliant and responsible for their own care and others rely in their family, family could act as a support group that may contribute positively with the disease outcomes. Ultimately nurses by reinforcing education such as lifestyle modification and treatment compliance will promote helpful adaptation abilities in order to achieve a quality of life since knowledge is essential to promote self- care behavior.
