Identify an aspect of warfare that has remained relatively constant since the 1600s. Explain why it has survived four centuries of change.

argue “what aspect of warfare that has remained relatively constant since the 1600s. Also, explaining why it has survived four centuries of change.

H100 lesson, says “According to Military Theory, the lethal nature of war itself remains the same (defeat the enemy – death and destruction). What frequently changes are means used to engage in warfare or how we fight.”  The reasons lethal nature has remained unchanged is probably due to the psychology of human nature.  If a child takes a toy from another it creates a fight same as it did a thousand years ago.  And the lethality of war has remained unchanged due to the dehumanizing of the opposing side, if we make them out to be less than human, it is easier to kill and inflict cruelty on them. I would also add that the “human side” –feelings, emotions, response to threats, has also remained the same.
