1) Identify a situation comedy (sitcom) on television that highlights family values and functions. Observe and document the worldview of the on-screen family. On what is your observation based? Compare and contrast the values and actions illustrated in the program with your own view and experience regarding family. Following are some questions to help guide you in this assignment: What concept (concepts) of family is made evident in this television program? Did this view of family impact your view of what a family is? Did this show have a positive or negative influence on your personal view of what a family is?
