Imagine that Cosgrove and Flynn had the opportunity to read Haidt’s chapter on “The Uses of Adversity.” How do you imagine they would respond to his chapter in relation to their own views on homeless mothers? Do you think they would welcome it as consistent with their work, or do you think they would find it to be running counter to their goals? Explain your view.
