This assignment requires you to explore how a health issue impacts upon the psychological, social and cultural functioning of individuals, families and communities. You will then consider the role of the nurse in delivering appropriate health care for the chosen population group .

  1. Part D– Implications for the role of the nurse. In this section clearly discuss the role of nurses in managing and addressing the health condition for the individual, for the family and for the community and population. Some justification must be provided. Your discussion will need to consider cultural awareness, level of knowledge, differing perspectives of health, healing practices and health care expectations. Support your discussion with at least 8 or more scholarly references. (700 words)
