This assignment requires you to explore how a health issue impacts upon the psychological, social and cultural functioning of individuals, families and communities. You will then consider the role of the nurse in delivering appropriate health care for the chosen population group .

3. Part B– Impact on the family: This section should clear describe and identify and explain the psychological, social and cultural impact of the health condition on the family. Support your discussion with at least 3or more scholarly references (peer reviewed journal articles). (300 words).

 

4. Part C– Impact on the community: In this section accurately discuss how the health issue impacts upon the community. Well detailed statements of impact and sound understanding ofimpact of health issue on the community. Support your discussion with at least 3 or more scholarly references(250 words)

 

5. Part D– Implications for the role of the nurse. In this section clearly discuss the role of nurses in managing and addressing the health condition for the individual, for the family and for the community and population. Some justification must be provided. Your discussion will need to consider cultural awareness, level of knowledge, differing perspectives of health, healing practices and health care expectations. Support your discussion with at least 8 or more scholarly references. (700 words)

 

 

6. Conclusion:The conclusion summarises your discussion main points of body without being repetitive. Well articulated. Demonstration of learning and indicates what you have learned about the topic in relation to the provision of nursing care. It should not introduce any new information.
