In my school as a part of A2 History we have to do a coursework, it should be 2000. We have been told that we have to write an essay describing how USA was changing its attitude towards foreign policy from 1890 and 1980 and to mention that Pearl Harbor was a key turning point. I have done 6 paragraphs called ‘The significance of Spanish American War’ ‘the reasons for WW1 ‘the impact of WW1’, ‘the impact of WW2’ ‘The significance of Pearl Harbor’ and ‘Cold War’.

In the Spanish American paragraph could you paraphrase sentences 5 and 7.

In ‘the reasons for WW1′ could paraphrase sentences 1, 3, 6, 7, 8, 9

In’the impact of WW1′ paragraph could you paraphrase sentence 2

In the’The significance of Pearl Harbor’ paragraph I am satisfied with this one, but will accept any changes.

In the the impact of WW2 paragraph could you paraphrase sentences 2 and 3.

In the ‘the Cold War’ paragraph It is really hard to read it because sentences are not linked to each other, do not know how to make it smoother.

These are 6 paragraphs that i have got and it is almost 1700 out of 2000 that i need for my coursework. Paragraphs are looking like different essays and if something could be done to make them parts of one big essay, probably some kind of linking sentences or something like that.
Finally, i need to come up with the conclusion which will be saying that pearl harbor was the most transformative event for USA as it has changed public opinion and it made USA realise that it is a country with the potential of being a world power. Without Pearl Harbor we would still have two superpowers: Soviet Union and USA. American public wouldn’t accept the war between these two superpowers without Pearl Harbor and people wouldn’t understand the size of power that their country could execercise. But overall USA always were always a superpower with the great economy and potential but without a wish of the public to exercise its power.
