1. Using the Epidemiologic Triangle (Figure 13-1, p. 289) give an example of an infectious disease, and explain its transmission by identifying the host, agent, environment, and (if applicable) the vector.
2. Using the infectious disease you chose describe examples of primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention and what roles the nurse would play regarding interventions.
