Instructional Strategies
1. Choose one unit topic from your specific subject area Culinary Science.
2. Develop a unit plan that would implement at least five different instructional strategies. You must use these required strategies: direct instruction, cooperative learning, discovery learning, jigsaw, and higher level questioning.
3. Provide a detailed lesson plan for the implementation of each instructional strategy, including assessments.
4. Utilize the lesson plan templates EEI that is provide.
5. In 500-750 words, write a reflection that explains how you would determine your students’ mastery of content for each instructional strategy used. Identify acceptable evidence of mastery for each lesson and explain how your assessment(s) of the students’ mastery supports their intellectual, social, and/or physical development.
6. While APA format is not required for the body of this assignment, solid academic writing is expected and in-text citations and references should be presented using APA documentation guidelines
