Integrative Paper

*** Please, please ensure to cite with page numbers. This professor is a PhD and extremely particular ***

Only Resources Needed for References are these 2 books:
1. Textbook:
Ivancevich, J., & Konopaske, R., & Matteson, M. (2014). Organizational Behavior and Management (Tenth ed.). McGraw-Hill Irwin.
ISBN: 978-0-07-802946-2

2. Course book
Kotter, J., & Cohen, D. (2002). The heart of change: Real-life stories of how people change their organizations. Boston, Mass.: Harvard Business School Press.

ASSIGNMENT:
As stated in the syllabus, the integrative paper should be organized around the steps in Kotter and Cohen’s The Heart of Change. In other words, discuss how the concepts in the textbook and course overviews are consistent or inconsistent with Kotter and Cohen’s key themes and their reasoning.

INSTRUCTIONS FROM SYLLABUS:
You are required to write a review of John Kotter and Dan Cohen’s book, the Heart of Change. You will be expected to tie the materials in that book to the information presented in the text.

As you move through the text and other assignments, take notes and outline the connections between Kotter and Cohen’s book and the textbook as they occur to you. Given the number of principles and concepts that you can relate, the key is to identify and discuss only the most important concepts relevant to the assignment.

Because of increasing concerns with academic dishonesty, use proper citations when referring to specific materials in either Organizational Behavior and Management or The Heart of Change. This both clarifies which book you are discussing and provides citations necessary to avoid plagiairism. The format for citations is not critical. For example, “Kotter and Cohen, p. 120” or “Ivancevich, Konopaske and Matteson, pp. 145-47” are sufficient.
