International relations

Choose a particular phenomenon in global politics and discuss the resources which are provided for interpreting this phenomenon by three of the theoretical traditions of international relations. Indicate which of the three traditions discussed you think is most adequate for understanding the phenomenon chosen. Give your reasons for why you think it most adequate.

Question is to choose a particular phenomenon (global environment and policies) critique the approach of through the three theoretical paradigms.

Constructivism, post colonialism and green theory. (green theory obviously being the successor of the three)

Those theoretical paradigms are applied to the global environment, so critique the green theory application through a constructivists and post colonialist view.

Touch on how these two theories evolved or changed to encompass green theory and where they might be struggling.

e.g. liberalism ad how a capitalist might not see the environment as a priority or a realist and how strife or different political agenda’s end up deterring him from the global sty of keeping the environment clean.

refer to the UN and how it sees a clean healthy environment as a human right and how each year more people see the UN as a global governing body or a body that sets whats acceptable and what isn’t.

Refer to global warming or how different world phenomenon’s of the environmental nature have effect on these theories.

Refer to this book when talking about the theories and how they are defined, their nature and how they’re perceived as I use this book heavily to base my theories.
