Take one of the love language assessments at this web site. Have your partner, child or parent do the assessment as well. Or, if you’re single, take the “for singles” assessment.

Write a 1-2 page essay about your primary love language. Give some examples of behavior that fits with this love language. Explain how different interpretations of love might cause problems in close relationships. If you are single, write about whether or how you might use your results, and to what end. If you asked another person to do the assessment, write about whether or how you both might use your results to improve or maintain your relationship.
