Each student will be responsible for interviewing a Bachelor Social Worker or Masters Social Worker working in an agency setting. You will then utilize the information received from the interview to write a 3-4 page reflection paper focusing on the perceptions of this social worker regarding the social work profession and his/her practice. Relate how this person’s perceptions differ or reinforce what has been discussed and read in class. Also, share any new learning to the social work profession from your interview. The reflection paper should have a Title page and formatted in APA 6style, using Times New Roman, 12 font, double-spaced, and 1 inch margins. It should be no longer than 3- 4 typed pages. The topics that must be covered in the Social Worker Interview/Reflection Paper: Insight into the work day of a social worker, The pros and cons of working in an agency setting, How the social worker responds to/works with various clients in their respective environment, How often the NASW Code of Ethics is used on a daily basis, Barriers that vulnerable and special populations face, The importance of continuing education and how it is achieved How the social worker and or agency are committed to social and economic justice
