Introduction to Public Health Ethics

HERE ARE THE ESSAY TOPICS
There are two essay topics to choose from. Choose one topic. Write 1500 words on that topic. Note that you can take any position you choose on these topics: you can agree, disagree, or agree in part or on certain conditions. The most important thing is that you make a good argument for your position.
Topic One: Governments are justified in instituting coercive policies against parents who do not fully vaccinate their children.
OR
Topic Two: The Australian government should prioritise improving the health of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians, even if that requires a significant commitment of resources.
WORD LENGTH, ACADEMIC HONESTY, AND OTHER RULES I TAKE SERIOUSLY
WORD LENGTH
The word limit for your essay is 1500 words. You will not be penalised for writing 10% more or less than 1500 words. Beyond this, you will lose marks for ‘structure and organisation’ (see rubric on p13). Please do not write asking permission to submit a longer essay.
