CASE STUDY REPORT

 

 

Your company has been appointed to design the VoIP infrastructure using Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express and Cisco endpoints.

 

You are also required to recommend telephony features to be implemented based on the requirements stated below.

 

ABC Co. has a staff strength of 11 personnel in 3 departments; IT, Sales and Design. The design team has 2 staff. The sales department has 2 staff and the IT department has 7 staff including the director and his secretary.

 

As a project manager you have met your customers and gathered following requirements:

 

1. The company has acquired the telephone number 8100 XXXX from the local telephone company. All internal staff will have their own telephone extension number. Each department will be allocated the first digit of the extension as follows:

IT	7XXX
Design	8XXX

 

2. Staff in the IT and Design departments will be given physical phones. As sales staffs are mobile workers, it is ideal that they can be allocated software with calling functionality to be installed on their

1. Name of the feature to be using Cisco Unified Communication Manager Express.
2. Requirement, which proposed feature, satisfies.
3. Reasons for recommendation.
4. Additional recommended feature (if any)
