Korean popular cultural production

1. You should choose a piece of Korean popular cultural production. It could be a film, a music video, a TV drama, a TV program, or an animation from any period

between the 1950s to the present. (You should choose the object of your analysis by Thursday of the 5th Week.)

2. Introduce and contextualize the production. (1-1 ½ pages)

3. Select a few key parts from the popular cultural production (scenes, plots/subplots, characters, music, dance, dialogue and so on).

4. Analyze these aspects.

5. Connect your analysis of these various key part of the cultural production into a coherent argument about the cultural production as a whole. (3 ½ – 4 pages)
