TURNING BACK THE CLOCK (Leadership Breakthrough) CONSULTATION

John Kennedy. Lance Armstrong. Mohammed. Ghandi. Hillary Clinton. David Petraeus. Other leaders. All leaders-and all had leadership flaws that limited his or her overall effectiveness. Your job here is to turn back the clock! As a leadership consultant, you have the ability to go back to that time and advise that leader on what to do not or not do that would enhance and ensure his or her leadership.
1- Pick a leader of your choice and describe the leadership flaw or flaws he or she had. 2- Describe your leadership breakthrough/intervention project. Explain its purpose, anticipated results and actions you will take to make it happen.3- Describe the scope of your project, i.e. is it organization wide, work-unit wide, or simply limited to one person? (How will this breakthrough/intervention be visionary (i.e. not given by existing circumstances but consistent with Gandhi’s saying, “Live today the future you wish for in the world”)? How will this project be in alignment with your vision and strategy for leadership? (F) What are your key indicators of success? How will you measure success? Identify these and clearly explain them. What are your measurable goals and how will you measure them?
