You have just finished 3 modules on 3 pillars of safety management systems: risk management, safety assurance and safety promotion.
Safety policy is the fourth pillar but it supports and governs the other three pillars as well.
For this learning journal write a short reflection on either of these questions.

* Review how government policy (top-down) influences the activities and scope of the other 3 pillars.
OR
* Review how internal policy (bottom-up) supports the activities and scope of the other 3 pillars.
You should describe the process and provide a reflection and evaluation.
