Order Description

Complete a literature review of current leadership theories being utilized in the field today. The theories we have discussed are the following: Great-Man Theory (Traits, Style, Skill, & Situational), Contingency Theory, and Path-Goal Theory
Instructions:
For this assignment, you will conduct a literature review of leadership theories discussed in this course that are exemplified in your current organization. (I am the director of HR for a water park)
You will analyze and synthesize the material to compose a 7-9 page review of literature.
1. Choose a minimum of three (3) articles from the required readings from this course, and at least four (4) from the University Library databases that focus on the leadership theories. Your sources should generally be o more than 5 years old. Your selected articles should discuss some aspects of leadership theories discussed in the course.
2. Develop an introduction on the background of each theory and the purpose of the literature review.
3. Analyze all articles and describe the key themes that emerge across the seven selected articles.
4. Synthesize the material and summarize the patterns of similarities and differences regarding how each of the authors has presented each theme.
5. Based on your analysis of the literature, conclude by recommending a specific theory you feel would be most effective for your organization. Be sure to justify your choice.
