Cultural backgrounds can greatly impact people who are in need of human services. In some cultures, for example, illness is seen as a sign of weakness, which sometimes leads to delayed medical or social assistance. This is just one of the countless ways that culture impacts human services, and as a future professional, it is important that you gain insights into how culture might impact your area of interest (my area is counseling). For this Assignment, locate and select one peer-reviewed article that relates to culture in human services.
