M3 Discussion – Learning and Motivation

Learning and Motivation

There are two choices for this question. Choose one question for your main post. Be sure to label which choice you selected in your main post. Please address all parts of the question in your main post. Besides your main post, you need to submit two or more replies to the main posts of classmates. 1.Consider learning theories you have been reading about in your course materials.
2.What is the evidence that TV or film portrayals of violence is linked to real world aggression?
3.Use at least one peer reviewed article or other empirical research to back up your conclusion.
4.What are alternative explanations for aggression and violence, rather than just observing violence on TV or film

1.Consider the theories of motivation explained in your course materials
2.Which theory seems to appeal to you the most. Would this theory also appeal to others with whom you work, live, and/or attend school?
3.What seems to make this motivational theory/approach work best for you to motivate you to work towards some goal(s)?
4.Specifically, how could you use this theory/approach to help motivate yourself (or others) to increase motivation – i.e. act differently, work more effectively, etc. ?
5.Why do you think other approaches would not be as effective to increase your motivation?
