Management Analyst

Management Analyst

You have likely seen a “help wanted” ad in the newspaper; perhaps even answered a few. But did you ever think about how they were written? What should be selected for inclusion in an ad? How can you write the best ad possible to get the largest number of quality applicants? This exercise will give you some practice and insight into this process.

You will use your creative side and design a recruitment ad. Select any job description from O*Net (Links to an external site.); then draft a job opening ad for the same job. Make sure to include the relevant job and organization elements, as well as other components that may facilitate job recruitment. This ad should have no more than 200 words. You may also include whatever info you believe may help you recruit best, but make sure not to exceed the 200 words. (It can be fictitious.)

You should refer to Figure 6-6 in the course textbook, for tips on content to include in an effective recruiting ad. View the Activity Rubric to guide you in the writing process of your paper.
