COMPLETE BOTH PARTS.

PART ONE:

There has been considerable debate about the impact that HRM has on the

success of an organisation. Choose an organisation of interest to you and

complete the following tasks:

Critically evaluate the way that TWO of the following are managed in the

organisation, assessing the impact that this has on the success of the

organisation: employee training and development, employee involvement and

participation and employee reward.

Then critically question whether it is possible to measure the impact that HR

practices have on organisational performance

There is a word limit of 2000 words for part onePage 3 of 4

PART TWO:

You are required to persuade the senior management team in your chosen

company of the importance of HRM. Create five slides in Powerpoint, with

accompanying notes, setting out the content that you would cover in your

presentation.

Please insert these into your assignment as images. Your notes should not

exceed 1000 words.

Marking Scheme

Answers will be marked in accordance with the following scheme (marks available

for each element are shown in brackets):

approaches and theoretical frameworks in relation to HRM. Information gathered

and used is valid, relevant and of masters level quality. All sources have a HR

focus, with a strong academic underpinning. (30)

  1. Application of knowledge – knowledge and evidence is applied to the

organisation in an appropriate way that demonstrates understanding of the

organisation and its context. Therefore, all knowledge will be integrated and not

You should also ensure that your answer includes appropriate HRM academic

thinking and that this is also properly referenced.

Please include a front sheet that contains your full name, student number, course

title, module name and exact word count.

Guidelines:

You MUST underpin your analysis and evaluation of the key issues with

appropriate and wide ranging academic research and ensure this is

Referencing section) and a Harvard Referencing Interactive Tutorial. You

must use the Harvard Referencing method in your assignment.

Additional notes:
