Marketing Management

Question 1
“Marketing is everywhere. Formally or informally, people and organizations engage in a vast number of activities that we could call marketing. Good marketing has become an increasingly vital ingredient for business success. And marketing affects our day-to-day lives. It is embeded in everything we do- from the clothes we wear, to the websites we click on, to the ads we see” (Kotler and Keller, 2012, p.3).
Contemplate the above observations and answer: what is the scope of marketing, why is marketing important, what developments do you witness in Oman’s marketplaces that support the above observations?
(Guidelines: Use your observations, make appropriate assumptions, and wherever available, give evidences from secondary sources using Harvard Style of referencing). 10 Marks
