Finally it should be noted that this is a cyclical process not linear: i.e. it should not simply stop once all
stages are completed, it then should start again at the beginning and drive forward into the next planning
period.

units / divisions of the organisation who may simultaneously or at different starting times, be developing and
implementing their own plans, so there may be many activities happening all over the business. Hopefully however,
there should be internal networks which instil an overall common objective and business mission throughout each
department of the business.
