Matrices Analyze/ VERIZON INC
Special Note to Professor:
I may require 4 short parties to analyze the 4 matrices attached in a Power Point File. I will have to present this power point composed of matrices. Thus I require a speech analyze for each slide, adopt a prescriptive approach more than descriptive approach.

Slide 1: IFE Matrix
Focus on how Verizon’s resources, capabilities, structure, and strategies, with your recommended improvements, can lead the firm to prosperity.
As it will be a speech do not bore a live audience with overreliance on numbers. Write about how your plan of action will improve the firm’s weaknesses and capitalize on strengths in light of anticipated competitor countermoves.
For the remaining slides: SWOT, IE and QSPM matrices focus more on the implications of those analyses than the nuts-and-bolts calculations. In other words, as you go through those matrices in a presentation, your goal is not to prove to the class that I did the calculations correctly. They will expect accuracy and clarity and certainly you should have that covered. It is the implications of each matrix that my audience will be most interested in, so use matrices to pave the way for your recommendations with costs.
A good rule of thumb is to spend at least an equal amount of time on the implications as the actual calculation of each matrix when presented. This approach will improve the delivery aspect of your presentation by maintaining the high interest level of my audience. Focusing on implications rather than calculations will also encourage questions from the class.
