Mechanical Characterization of Vinyl Ester resin

To determine the mechanical characteristics of Vinyl ester resin by determining the stiffness, strength (yield stress, ultimate stress) and ultimate strain as well as determining the strain rate. The test will be conducted using JJ Lloyd machine. And will be done by manufacturing samples of Vinyl ester raised
Background
A. Literature Survey
o Chemical and other properties of VE
o Principles of Curing and Cross-Linking
o Applications
o Advantages and disadvantages
o Compared to other polymer matrices i.e (polestar , epoxy)
o Mechanical properties of V.E () for different strain rates from previous tests by others .
o The parameters we are looking for ar : stiffness, strength (yield stress, ultimate stress) and ultimate strain as well as determining the strain rate for V.E. for tension, compression, bending
o compering the mechanical properties of V.E. with other common resions .
B. Test methods using ASTM standereds for (tension, compression, bending)
3. Expected outcome frome the practical expermints( tension, compression, bending)
And expected errors that could happend during the testing. Or during making the sample
