Module One: Selection of the Basic Principle of Healthy Housing for the SLP

Clarity: The paper reads clearly, it is not confusing. It is well structured and grammatically correct.
Breadth: The paper presents appropriate breadth covering the questions of the assignment.
Depth: The paper describes well the concepts presented and the concepts are well supported by the literature and/or illustrated with examples taken from the literature. The paper presents points that lead to deeper matters and issues. The descriptions are well detailed in the paper.
Application: The paper uses a real-life scenario to describe the occupational setting, its industrial processes, its working population, and its health and safety team
References: A reference list is provided at the end of your paper (following APA guidelines for citation of references is encouraged and recommended, but not required). At least 4 scholarly references are required. Scholarly references refer to peer reviewed journal articles, credible websites (such as government websites), published book materials and other peer-reviewed resources.

The Session Long Project for this course requires that you select one of the basic principles of healthy housing and explore it in-depth. Completion of the SLP will result in a research paper on the selected principle of healthy housing that you selected for this course. The basic principles of healthy housing are as follows:

Module Requirements for the Session Long Project
The Session Long Project for this course will be divided into five or modules as follows:
Module Two: Regulations and Structural Aspects of a House that Controls the Basic Principle
? Identify sections of regulations that require a house (dwelling unit) be constructed in a manner to support the selected basic principle of healthy housing. Justify your response if appropriate.
Module Three: Controlling Disease Vectors and Pests and Environmental Barriers
? Explain in relative detail how the control of disease vectors and pests and the proper environmental barriers protect the residents of the housing unit and/or the community so that they are adequately protected relative to the selected basic principle for the SLP.
Module Four: Indoor air pollutants, toxic materials and molds
? Discuss how indoor air pollutants, toxic materials and molds are related to the selected basic principle for the SLP.
? Consider the effect of heating, air conditioning and ventilation in controlling indoor air pollutants and how this may related to your selected basic principle for the SLP.
Module Five: The Effect of Water and Wastewater and Plumbing
? Discuss how your selected basic principle for the SLP is related to water and wastewater systems and general plumbing issues.
