Define the virtue hope. Why is it theological virtue? Why is it only possible with God grace?

What does having hope have to do with how we live in this life?

Define heaven, hell, and purgatory. Describe two ways these terms can be understood: in a manner that is only extrinsically related to our live on earth, and a manner that is intimately connected to our lives on earth

Why do Christians believe Jesus died for our sins?

List the (corporal) works of mercy and state where they come from. How are they and example of living in Christ?

Chapter 15
What is the term” charity” commonly taken to mean? What is its definition in this chapter?

Describe two ways that love and God and neighbor can be understood as connected. Which do you find persuasive and why?

Chapter 16
Define grace. How does it complete reflection on the persistent theme in this book that for Christians, Christ is not simply a great moral teacher?
