Movie: Beauty and The Beast

Order Description
Write a film analysis essay on Beauty and The Beast [1991] ( the disney animated movie). You will make an argument about what you think that movie says and how you think it goes about saying it. You will do this by analysing the various narrative and film devices and techniques used in the film, such as: symbols, motifs, allusions, themes, conflicts, colour palette, focusing, framing, angels, cuts, etc.
It is VERY important to remember that you are NOT arguing whether or not the movie is good or to you liking; this is a film analysis essay, not a film review. You also SHOULD NOT merely be telling the plot of the film. There may be moments in the essay when you feel you need to explain a little bit of the plot, and a small dose when necessary that can be fine, but do not spend the majority of your paper rehashing the plot. This essay should have a third level thesis on the end of the first paragraph. For example, (this is an example of introductions with thesis from The Dark Knight, and the essay should be like this)

Fairness and the just world Fallacy in the Dark Knight

The “Just World Fallacy” is a logical fallacy in which a person making an argument assumes that the world is inherently fair or that fairness is even an attainable, knowable, calculable thing. I was reminded of the idea while I watched Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight. In that film, one of the villains, Two-Faced, shouts”it’s not about what i want; it’s about what’s fair!” This connection between chaos and fairness is not something most of us average folks see. When a child dies of cancer what do we say? Most of us say, “life is not fair.” We talk about the crappy hands people get dealt. Therefore, the film’s aligning of chaos with fairness seems foreign to us. It is through this who seek fairness will always become the ones who prove to be the most unfair, for any attempt at assigning fairness or unfairness is inherently flawed because a “just World” is a fantasy world, and not even a fantasy world that we could ever properly imagine, much less bring out.

You should make an introduction and a thesis like that for my Beauty and the beast essay. You can argue on fairness as well on the part where Gaston is trying to kill Beast. Is he doing something wrong by protecting his love from beast? imagine that your girlfriend is trapped in a tiger’s cave, what are you going to do? Else, you can argue on other thing like what does the rose represent and so on.
