My 6 months Vision for Developing New Startegy

UNESCO is an international organization
– it’s not very communicative in its history (But now with the communication through social media must change)
– -2011: was first webteam was created at UNESCO what you think about how Unesco before was communicating?

As a UNESCO have a financial crisis that leads to many obstacles:
a- As my experience while working at the UNESCO when the supervisor asked me to take a photo of the external globe symbol of the UNESCO building and to show the tour Eiffel behind that was at night as the it was dark and they weren’t lighting the building !!! that will effect them
b- while I asked to design different visuals there was a difficulty to get a photos with a copy right or to purchase the photos and use them.
c- When they do a cultural event they invite only the UNESCO’S members and staff and they don’t invite the public or to take at least a photos of the events and to share it in social media …!!

UNESCO is a public information (objective ) >When Social media is more “communication” or “marketing” (subjective) reconcile this fact.
The UN are not government it’s usually out of the department:
– cultural diplomacy -communications -public advocacy

– People think that UNESCO is only a world Heritage, but in fact it’s more than that it is “education,culture,social,ethics,scientific,science..(SHOW A COHERENT NARRATIVE OF that)
– Explain how the UNESCO is not comfortable with this fact ! say a coherent narrative about it.

Need to elaborate new strategy for facebook, twitter (check the file attached to know what are they)

The Problomatic:
As now they became Editorially led-marketing and visually led-marketing.
The problem that UNESCO don’t like to communicate.
– As am working for 6 months in DPI department as a designer and editor what’s my vision would be through the 6 months of internship, what is the product I am going to develop?(with all the fact I mentioned above?
– Elaborate new strategy, How I’ll get the global public to get interested in the UNESCO’S facebook and twitter (Write down an analysis of their posts in the facebook & twitter account( do a full analysis for the posts of last 6 months and tell how their posts look like? And what is missing to attract the public? How you’ll add value to it?
