AR 1: Analyze the NetLogo models Traffic Basic and Termites
?Experiment with the NetLogo simulation Termites until you understand how it works, what causes only one pile of wood chips to form, and how the parameters affect the speed of the single pile formation. In one page explain why the pile forms, how the parameters affect the formation, and how real termites (in nature) learned this method of pile formation.

Experiment with the NetLogo simulation Traffic Basic to analyze what causes traffic jams to form. In particular, find parameters that will avoid traffic jam formation. In one page explain what causes traffic jams, what parameters you found which will avoid traffic jam formation, and what might be done to avoid traffic jams in real life.
