Nutrition education programs have shown to be effective in improving youth’s knowledge, attitudes and behaviour in relation to nutrition (Wang et al. 2015, p. 271).

In 2014, 76.1% of youth aged 5-17 years old were within health body weight range (Government of South Australia 2016).
