You live in a city with a strong petrochemical industry. Every time you pass through a certain part of town, you smell a noxious odor. Even though the air is regulated by the state you suspect that the companies are releasing dangerous amounts of
chemicals into the atmosphere. How would you find out what chemical constituents are in your city’s air? Imagine that you receive “alarming” results. How would you feel about this? Would you take any further action? If so, explain what you would do next and why.
